Connecticut Blend Review:

This cigar has a creamy vanilla profile, but the stronger Habano binder and Nicaraguan Ligero in the filler make themselves known through some solid tobacco flavors that become apparent immediately in the cigar. As the cigar opens up, some mild spice becomes apparent through the nose. Although not a strong cigar, there is a lot more complexity to this stick than most Connecticut-wrapped cigars. Flavors of spice, leather and cedar all become apparent in this blend. The burn and draw are flawless in this stick, which is mild to medium in body.

Habano Blend Review:
This blend is stronger than its Connecticut counterpart. Most noticeable are flavors of coffee, earth, and wood with some leather undertones that appear about midway through. Towards the final third, notes of chocolate also present themselves on the palate. This cigar has a nice complexity to it as well, for a smoke that is strong, but not overwhelming. The Habano blend also burns and draws flawlessly, and is medium to full in body.

Maduro Blend Review:

Rock-a-Feller-Maduro-cut

The Maduro blend is a full-bodied smoke. It is definitely a big jump up in strength from the Habano, and yet it is still a very smooth cigar. Like the other two blends, it has a near-perfect draw and burn. This stick sports a dark Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, foreshadowing the bold flavors that are sure to follow. After much deliberation and prototype testing by our most reliable customers, this final blend was selected as the one that stood above the rest. The finished product is a very complex smoke that changes throughout. It starts out as a very rich, nutty cigar, and later gives way to solid cocoa flavors, which are present through the remainder of the cigar. As the stick progresses, the smoker encounters flavors which include wood, spice, leather, and a long, buttery finish. This is the perfect cigar after a filling meal, or to pair with a glass of scotch, cognac, bourbon, or dark rum.
